BLF started in 2006 after our first medical mission showed how much Yonibana needed accessible healthcare. We opened Yonibana Sai Hospital in 2009 to provide free care, and since then we’ve grown into a community-focused facility offering medical, maternity, dental, pharmacy and lab services. We’ve also sponsored 86 students through training, many of whom now serve in Sierra Leone’s health and essential services. Today, we’re strengthening YSH by expanding maternity care, improving dental services, securing a full time doctor, building our local team and continuing to provide free, quality healthcare. From a small mission to a full community hospital, this is our journey. Devi Patel.
